About Michelle

I was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Queens,New York, Bayside to be exact. I spent 4 years in at the University of Colorado in Boulder, (Go Buffs) before moving to Paradise… Honolulu, Hawaii. After 13 years of island living, I made the move to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada.
I’ve been fortunate enough to live in (and visit) some of the most beautiful and exciting places in the world. I’ve also been fortunate enough to encounter some of the most amazing people to walk the face of this earth. My friends and family are a big part of my life and I am grateful and cherish their support, love and presence in my life, no matter how near or far they are in distance. Throughout my life, my family has supported everything I have and wanted to do. My friends have always been there and have taught me what a the word friendship really means. The people of Hawaii have taught me the true meaning of aloha.
As a New Yorker at heart, I have the determination and motivation to achieve my heart’s desire. I was taught to be independent, street smart, cautious and to trust my instinct. As an educated person, I have learned the skill set to determine the steps needed to achieve my goals and to gather the factual information needed to determine the rights and wrongs and the hows’ and whys. As an Island Girl, I have learned to be compassionate, understanding and considerate of others. I learned the hard work does pay off and that if you do something from your heart, it doesn’t matter what the result or reward is.
I guess the most important lessons that I learned throughout my life is that you must trust yourself, you must follow your own dreams, do the best you can do. I try to live with passion and always, always treat people the way I want to be treated, no matter what. As the years go by, I now know that happiness is not a destination, but rather a way of life. I also know that life is too short to not live, to not enjoy every moment or to just go through life to get by.
As I sit here in Las Vegas, I am living my dream. I enjoy every minute of my everyday, I face many challenges and am continuing to learn something new every single day. Dreams can not be achieved in seconds or minutes, it takes time. Dreams are a wish that your heart makes. Always pursue your dreams, no matter how big or small. Accomplishments will only be recognized when you step back, take a breathe and realize the change of reality.
I live my life with common sense, responsibility for my actions and reaction and try to do the best I can. I believe that positive thinking can do wonders in one’s life, as long as you truly believe and you stay realistic. I believe in living life to the fullest and if you are going to do something, do it right. Money comes and goes and the more money you make, the more money you spend. Always live within your means and do thing for yourself, never do anything for the sole purpose of money, it’s not worth it at the end. Friends and family should really be the only things you should worry about losing as they can not be replaced. I believe that if you want something, it is far more rewarding if you earn it, rather than having it handed to you. I also believe that if you want something, there is no harm in asking as the worst thing that can happen is that you get a no as the answer.
Laughter is one of the best thing in life and jealousy is evil and the root of most problems. I try to find humor in everything and realize that there is no reason to be jealous. I believe I can have or be anything I desire, so there is no reason to ever feel jealous. Everyone is entitled to an opinion…whether you agree or disagree with them. I believe that an open mind is a great mind.Your past makes you who you are today. Learn from your mistakes and then forget about the details.Try to never do anything that you will regret or that you have to hide. Actions speak a lot louder than words.Knowledge is power, never stop learning about yourself and about the ones you care about.
We have one life, let’s make the best of it !
